Brunch, Not Bitumen

Come on out to Brunch, Not Bitumen. Enjoy some pancakes, while supporting the Unist’ot’en camp.

March 1st, 11am – 2pm
Grandview Calvary Baptist Church

Bitumen [bahy-too-muhn]:a naturally occurring mixture of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (takes the form of a viscous, black, sticky tar-like substance)

This is the stuff that oil companies want to pump through pipelines over pristine unceded lands. We would rather help you pump some maple syrup down your food pipe.

Come out for fruit, muffins, and PANCAKES, by donation. Vegan and gluten free options available.

All donations are for the Unis’toten camp. The Unist’ot’en Camp is an indigenous resistance community whose purpose is to protect sovereign Wet’suwet’en territory from several proposed pipelines from the Tar Sands Gigaproject and shale gas from Hydraulic Fracturing Projects in the Peace River Region.

***We have recently learned that construction for the proposed Pacific Trails Pipeline has already started, so the need is more urgent than ever.***
